Ashoka, a Washington DC-based NGO, educates social entrepreneurs and corporations in Systems Change, providing tools to transform systems globally.
To make their often academic content accessible, Ashoka aimed to reach people committed to positive change by addressing problems at their root and initiating change from within.
Our solution was a dynamic 3-part animated story featuring characters Kovit and Marco, demonstrating how a system can be changed, empowering users to critically address problems.
We aimed to captivate with stunning artwork and a compelling narrative to engage users through all three phases, offering a story of hope and perseverance.
Soundtrack
Our approach for the soundtrack started from the interpretation of the illustrated environments, the contrast between the tense and contemplative parts, the colours and subtil feelings we’ve extracted from it. While studying asian music scales, we wrote a composition for orchestra, with wind and string instruments and a captivating percussion, as well as details of several other instruments. This composition lived from the synergies with the sound design helping to guide the viewer on a journey throughout the landscapes of Thailand and Indonesia.
