During a relaxing jog, a man witnesses an assault. He continues the run. Maybe he hasn’t actually seen it? Was it just an impression? Is it possible to pretend it never happened? Still, the man can’t get rid of the image that he saw with the corner of his eye. It comes back as a broken loop in front of his eyes. A dad wants to immortalize the beautiful moment of the family trip to the beach. He struggles to find a perfect shot as many surrounding elements don’t fit the idyllic image. What better to do then just crop them out and pretend they are not there? Two young women tired with the tension of the big city decide to go for a spiritual retreat. While the surrounding reality it’s just too much to deal with, what’s better than isolating yourself in your own world and pretending nothing beside it exists? No one sees the upcoming disaster until the point when it cannot be ignored anymore.
